Parvuli Dei program was designed for Cub Scouts and Webelos Scouts of the Catholic Church who are 8, 9, and 10 years of age.
The purpose of the emblem is to help young boys explore a wide range of activities in order to discover the presence of God in their daily lives as members of their families and parishes and to develop a positive self-image through the contributions they make to the group or community.
The presentation of the emblem is made through the authority of the bishop, or his delegate. It is advisable that a parish priest have a role in the program. The scout also receives the universal religious knot that always will be worn on his uniform, the actual medal can be worn on their red vest or on the shirt for special occasions.
